International Drug Rehab Graduation
All clients who successfully complete the Panama International Drug & Alcohol program will be awarded with a certificate of graduation. These “Rehab Diplomas” are issued only to those clients who complete the course in its entirety. These diplomas are notarized by both a US and Panamanian notary and are admissible in any court in the world.
For those clients who graduate at the top of the class or distinguished themselves some way while in the program. International Drug Rehab issues a “Good International Ambassador Certificate” which also is notarized and useable for any court appearances or to satisfy other required counseling needs as well.
Typical Drug Court Graduation
Near the end of rehab program the clients will complete an application for graduation and turn it into the Drug Treatment Court Coordinator for it to be reviewed and approved by the Drug Treatment Court Team.
When clients have met all Drug Treatment Court obligations, graduation ceremonies are commenced. The requirements for completion of the Drug Treatment Court Program consist of the following conditions:
* Pay all program fees * Completion of all treatment requirements * Complete all require 12-step meetings * Be crime free * 6 months of sobriety and negative drug screens * Full time employment or student (Judge can make case by case exception)
Graduation recognizes the client’s achievements. The Drug Treatment Court Team, all Drug Treatment Court interveners, and rehab staff member are invited to the graduation. This ceremony is an excellent example of what cooperation between criminal justice agencies can achieve with our clients. Graduates may be presented with a certificate of achievement and a token of congratulations. Post graduation activities include an alumni association, and aftercare plans.
No later than one month prior to the completion of the program, clients will schedule and complete an exit interview with the Drug Treatment Court program office.
While graduates no longer need to appear in court, they will be encouraged to be involved with a monthly aftercare, and occasionally update the Judge and Drug Treatment Court Team of their success in the local community.
